กระบวนการคิดวิเคราะห์อย่างมีวิจารณญาณทางเวชปฏิบัติเพื่อแก้ปัญหาทางระบบกล้ามเนื้อ เส้นเอ็น กระดูกและข้อ กระดูกสันหลัง และระบบประสาทส่วนปลายภายใต้การควบคุมดูแลของ อาจารย์ ความรู้พื้นฐาน อาการและอาการแสดง ระบาดวิทยา พยาธิกําเนิด พยาธิสรีรวิทยา การซักประวัติการตรวจร่างกาย การวินิจฉัยแยกโรค การวินิจฉัยโรค การตรวจการส่งตรวจและการแปลผส ทางห้องปฏิบัติการและทางรังสี การดูแลผู้ป่วยก่อนการผ่าตัด ระหว่างและหลังผ่าตัด การติดตามผู้ ป่วยหลังการรักษา ทักษะหัตถการที่จําเป็นและสําคัญทางศัลยกรรมกระดูกตามเกณฑ์แพทยสภาอย่าง คํานึงถึงสิทธิและความปลอดภัยของผู้ป่วย การป้องกัน การวินิจฉัยและการดูแลรักษาภาวะแทรกซ้อน ที่เกิดขึ้นจากการทําหัตถการ การบันทึกรายงานผู้ป่วย การนําเสนอรายงานผู้ป่วย การให้คําแนะนําผู้ป่วยและญาติ การดูแลรักษาผู้ป่วยแบบสหวิชาชีพ การสื่อสารกับบุคลากรการแพทย์ การดูแลผู้ป่วย แบบองค์รวมด้วยหัวใจความเป็นมนุษย์ ครอบคลุมถึงครอบครัวผู้ป่วยภายใต้ความดูแลของอาจารย์ ความรับผิดชอบด้วยเจตคติที่ดี การป้องกัน ควบคุมโรค สร้างเสริมสุขภาพและการฟื้นฟูสภาพตาม หลักเวชจริยศาสตร์Thinking process and critical analysis in medical practice for solving problems of patients in orthopedics, including musculoskeletal and bony joint system along with spine and peripheral nervous system under supervision; basic knowledge on symptomatology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, pathophysiology; history taking: physical examination; differential diagnosis; diagnosis; laboratory investigations, and radiographic diagnosis; pre- and postoperative care; medical care after discharge; essential skill and procedures according to Thai Medical Council; patients’ right and safety, prevention and treatment of complications arising from the procedure; medical record; presentation, counseling, multidisciplinary approach; holistic approach with humanized healthcare for patient and families under supervision; communication with medical personnel; responsibility with good attitude; prevention, control, promote and rehabilitation according to medical ethics.
