Education Criteria for Performance Excellence

EdPEx

EdPEx stands for “Education Criteria for Performance Excellence,” as recognized by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (OHEC). The significance of understanding and applying the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) to enhance the quality of educational management to meet global standards has been acknowledged. Both the College of Medicine and the Institute of Clinical Medicine, Department of Medical Services-Rangsit University, have received approval from the University Council and the Internal Quality Assurance Committee in higher education to use EdPEx criteria as a guideline for assessing educational quality within the faculty since the 2017 academic year. The objectives are to develop educational quality towards excellence and to utilize the criteria for various activities within the institution, aiming to elevate educational quality to be on par with other institutions. The Quality Assurance Division, the Clinical Medicine Center at Rajavithi Hospital, and the National Children’s Health Institute of the Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health recognize the importance of these initiatives. They have undertaken projects to provide fundamental knowledge about EdPEx criteria and to enable the use of these criteria as management tools for educational organizations at all levels within the College of Medicine and the Institute of Clinical Medicine, Department of Medical Services-Rangsit University, fostering sustainable awareness for continuous improvement in educational management quality, thus enabling competitiveness at both national and international levels.
